ALUMINIUM 8H12 blades

Would anyone in Aus have an old (even bent) set of 8H12 aluminium blades (preferably 6.25" chord) that they would like to get rid of.

I can buy new blade material from the US but I don't really need new material, so if anyones got anything lying around let me know.

Graeme

Re: ALUMINIUM 8H12 blades

Hi Graeme,

I have two sets of two (4 extrusions in total) of extruded 6061-T6 8H12 symetrical spars, each one just over 9 foot. They are un-used so I am unwilling to give them away but if you're interested I can flog them off for around $1700 total......

My guess is, you are probably after the full blade extrusion, aka: Vortech. Mine are just the formed leading edge and spar with the skins to be attached as a separate item........

Just let me know..

Cheers

Paul

Re: ALUMINIUM 8H12 blades

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the offer, but I dont want the blades for rotors, in fact all I require is about 1 metre of a of an aluminium 8H12 blade to do some testing with.

Someone may have a full blade or a short piece of, hiding in the back of there shed somewhere.
