"I taught I saw a puddy cat and it's offsider."
Mowing the lawns on the 23rd I think it was, could have sworn I saw ole Mate Doc Evans in a silver hatchback vehicle, drive passed slowly.
I never mentioned it to the wife till she mentioned she'd seen Welli at Lagana Shopping Centre yesterday.
I'd be down right dissappointed if you drove passed the Big ole Stone House and didn't drop in for a visit.
Any way back on topic.
The video tape (I guess this is what Welli is talking about) from Shaun is a copy from a mini DV camera. I have that copy and was prepared to edit it or put it out as is on a DVD's for the SA Club and Shaun.
The video tape is not really top shelf as it was not 'techoed' and Shaun investigated how to convert and copy etc, even going to the extreme measure of buying and researching all this DVD manufacturing stuff.
As Welli says at the time and I believe ongoing, was the fact that Shaun was heavily involved with studies for his Sargeants exams etc.
I converted the tape to DVD and added some of my footage which Elise had shot, then sent it back. The footage from us was superior to the quality of Shauns footage and includes some of the Blue Butterfly uploads to Youtube.
Last we spoke Shaun said he was finally on top of it all. He had taken out the extra footage we had sent and was reasonably happy with what he had. What eventuated from that I have no knowledge, reason being I guess is that I have the video tape (copy of a copy) and whilst I have converted it, it is not true DVD quality but is certainly video footage which would be a must in anyones collection. There are aerial displays by 'Jacko' David Jackson, and 'Birdy' David Bird and plenty of competition stuff etc.
Someone should call Shaun and inquire as to availability of DVD's.
Failing that there be no DVD available, then if Shaun were to agree, I could produce a DVD of the 2007 Lameroo Nationals from his and others footage. I have no time to organise permissions etc and do all the ringing around.
So if you want a DVD from Lameroo and anyone else has some short bits of film (less then 1 hr) that you can send me for inclusion, then contact Shaun, find out where he is on all of this, then let me know.
