A Fly/Drive has been arranged by the "Victorian Sport Rotorcraft Association", on the Australia day weekend being the 26th, 27th & 28th of January 2008 at the Phillip Island airport. Our host Don Cowling who lives on the island has arranged permission to use the venue.
Phillip Island is a great venue to bring the family with many things to do including great beaches at Cowes and Cape Woolamai. The penguin parade in the evening. The board walk and viewing at Seal Rocks. Great shopping for the ladies at Cowes. Numerous cafes restaurants & takeaways.
If you are wanting to book accommodation at San Remo or Phillip Island I suggest you do so ASAP as it is a very popular place particularly on a long weekend. There are plenty of Hotels, Motels, Caravan Parks, Cabins and Bed & Breakfast venues to choose from.
