Lameroo or bust
Ok fellas, i need a bit of help here too, i got started planing my flight for this little lap meself, and i was wondering if any one knows any one around the Rolleston area that i might be able to get fuel off, as that will be about 500kms from home here, so i'll be needing fuel around then, at this piont i think i got a stop over at St George, thats another 400kms from Rolleston, then its on to NSW, i think Echo meantioned Narrabri, so there is plenty of time, but i was wondering if any of fellas hoping to fly from Brissy, let me know where they are planning to fly, and i will meet them on route somewhere to take away some of the boredom.
Hey Russ dont forget to send that CD, might help planning my flight
Thanks for any help fellas, might not need any help on the return trip could be going home another way,,,,, up the centre, what about it buddy you up for it again i need some more laughs

Re: Lameroo or bust
Hey Bones, We will be leaving Caboolture on the monday I think,Allan has to be at the Board meeting at Lamaroo on Thursday,so that will be a easy slow 3 days.If you go the inland way Rod Shaw lives at St George so theres no problem with fuel and a bed. Id say we will overnight at Narrabri, I here theres free beer at Echo's.

Re: Lameroo or bust
Bones,
I doubt if I'll have my new machine going by then , but if you are planning a stop-over at Narrabri I will get some beer ( Tooheys, not that XXXX rust remover ) & steaks out to ya's . I'll get on to the aero club re. showers/accomodation , or you you can come out home ( 38 ks from town ) . I havent got my strip graded yet otherwise you could have landed here.

Re: Lameroo or bust
Bones, Birdy isnt going to make a detour to come via my place so I might be able to help.
If you can find Pooncarie [between Menindee and Wentworth on the Darling river], then you are pretty close to home.
