I have just come back from a flyin at Mount Beauty called "The gathering of
the moths" in Victoria's Alpine region. It is held every year and is always
the best flyin to attend. During the weekend we had trikes, aerochutes,
paramotors, ultralights, gyro's, G.A, warbirds, gliders, and helicopters
attend.
This year I finally got to fly over Victoria's highest mountain Mt. Bogong
which you can see still had some ice on the top. We also flew to Bright and
Porepunkah, then onto Mt. Buffalo and over the chalet resort perched on a
huge rock cliff, very spectacular!!!!!
I also managed a ride in a Thruster ultralight, and Hughes 300 helicopter. I
have attached some of the photos I took.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Regards SamL
