Re: Old Station ?????

Mark, It is supposed to clear Thursday night for a fine weekend, allthough I wish it would rain for a month. I can orginize bed, booze, and fuel all you have to do is show up. ring me Thur night if you are coming.

Hatrack, dont know anyone up that way, If you have any sort of aero club up there someone will be flying down or know someone who is. Usually around 200 plus aircraft flyin from all over.

Re: Old Station ?????

Well i made the decission tonight that it is gonna be Old Station or on the grog with Hoody at Middlemount, the rain is sposed to be clearing though it started to rain just before, leaving at well lets say daylight in the morning trying to get as much behind me before that wind picks up and then fuel at Hoody's and then just a casual lap of about 250 kms to the Old Station, total distance of about 750 kms, any where between 8 hrs and god knows how long, might have to camp over at Hoody's and go on the next day but not the first plan,, so see you all there.

Brace your self Muz and Waddles

Re: Old Station ?????

Well fellas i just got home about 1hr ago and i am saddened to say i had to leave early, phone call for work that i couldnt knock back, but it was a really good show in the makings as i left Saturday afternoon in to what was a mostly head wind, a total of about 1350kms and taking about 14 hrs of total flying time there and back, a really good roll up of gyros i think last count i dont was 9 gyros, Allan, Paul, and Bruce flew form Brissy, Rob drove down from Innisfail and a few other from diffent areas, damn it is good to catch up to all the guys again, sit around chew the fat and drink orange juice together , i guess a big thanks should go to Muz for being the fuel B**ch for the guys again and bring me some beding and refreshments. I look forward to some picys from the others guys as i was too busy flying everything that didnt already have a pilot to take my camera out. Thanks Bruce and Allan for the rides, my turn to repay the favor soon

Just a question did any of the guys that went manage to get the name of clown that woke every one up at daylight Saturday, it was the same fool whom obviously got his throttle stuck on take off shortly after and had to do a heap of cazy manouvors to stop from getting to high,,, same one that got chatted for holding up the traffic on a loooonnnng sllllloooow final approach after all it was a gyro show anyway wasnt it???
