Upgrading Forums

Have just downloaded the latest Forum software - SMF 1.1 RC3 and plan to install it today ... I have done a quick test on another site and it appears that it shouldn't cause any problems (famous last words)

This should be the last Betta version of the software and has quite a few improvements (not sure whether you'll notice too much your end )

I'll start by uninstalling the add ons - member map etc etc and then upgrade the software. As there will be a database upgrade I'll have to shut the site down for a short while - hopefully only half an hour ... so hang in there .. this'll hurt me more than you (especially if it doesn't go to plan!!)

Just Tried to access the Chat part of the website and got an Error 404 message is this due to the upgrades??
