Who's interested?

I'm thinking of putting a "Members Gyro of the Month" up ....

How it would work is - have 2 separate forums:

1 "Nominate your Gyro" - a fresh post for each nomination which must be by it's owner. Each nomination would have a set of photos and a description. Other members could vote on your gyro from the post they think has the best gyro. Once nominated the gyro would be included in each and every subsequent comp until it was removed.

2 "Winners of Gyro of the Month" - this would house the poll results progressively for each month and would be generated automatically at the start of each month.

So who's interested?? Birdy, what about the "ferrel" mate ...

.. as they say - every posts a winner

Re: Who's interested?

I suppose it wouldn't take long for it to go around to everyone in ASRA so no-one feels missed out...

Cheers,

Nick

Re: Who's interested?

Rotor,

I for one think it would be a good idea, its a way of sharing design ideas and construction techniques. Trouble is that there is always someone who wants to publicly criticise instead of commenting in a constructive fashion.

Just my 10c worth,

Adrian

Re: Who's interested?

Adrian,

Thanks for the positive feedback.

That was along my thoughts - no one really posts good photos of their gyro and people aren't seeing all of the innovative ideas happening around the country - besides it's a way of getting talk about the different gyros and ideas going also isn't it.

Change of thoughts then - I'll put it up in the next couple of days and we'll see how it goes ....

Nothing to loose .... lots to gain!!

Re: Who's interested?

Paul go to this forum - Members Aircraft
and you can place a new thread in there - once you've done that you or another member can nominate by clicking on the following button: -

Anyone can open a new thread with their aircraft on it - then members can vote from the initial post that opens the thread by also clicking on it.

Re: Who's interested?

No it doesn't have to be an Aussie Gyro - starting next month, you just have to own it.

Any member from any country can enter their Gyro ... your more than welcome to enter yours Graeme. Looking forward to seeing it

Have deleted this through lack of use ... it was also giving a fault in Internet Explorer.
