Site upgraded to VB 3.0.7

Hi all,

Today I upgraded the forum software to the latest version - 3.0.7 vBulletins latest and greatest.

Firstly my apologies for not forecasting the upgrade and to those that were on the site this morning.

Secondly, you'll notice a few more options in your User CP - there is now the option to start your own social groups. You also have the option have your own albums separate to the Gallery (not sure of the full potential of this until I play with it).

As well there are a heap of other features and enhancements with the latest version.

If you find something that's not quite right or a bug then please let me know and we'll see about getting it fixed!

Geoff

Finished upgrading the site today - you'll notice that there has been a few changes to different things around the site. Check out your User CP there's been quite a few additions in there which you might like to check out. There are other changes - here's here is a brief list of just a few of the changes/additions with this upgrade:

Re: Site upgraded to VB 3.0.7

A little problem with the "Polls" module on the front page - I hadn't noticed it after the upgrade to 3.7 but Joey has just pointed out that the module wont let you vote from it.

I'm looking for a fix for it so bear with me while I find it - but in the meantime you can always vote from the thread with the poll in it.

Cheers

A few more things ....

Site was off while I upgrade a few things today ... SEO, Photo Gallery, Front End (CMPS) ...

Fixed an issue with the Photo Gallery that's been annoying me for a while - in Highslide preview the next and last image icons weren't showing ... I took the time to read the Highslide install doc properly and got it working .... you know the old saying RTFM

Thanks for your patience ....

Geoff

Just cannot help yourself, can you Rotor? Get things going nice and slick... and you have another fiddle. You are one hopless case. Whoops, meant hopeless. Maybe hops is the problem.

Looks good to me

Thanks mate

Got to keep up the software up to date as they develop it - if you fall behind it can eventually be one hell of a job to get it back up to date. This upgrade to 3.7.1 was mostly a bug fix after the upgrade from 3.6.8 ...... 3.7.0 was a feature filled upgrade - lots of new features and worth the effort to upgrade --- don't forget, with every upgrade security fixes are staying one step ahead of the hackers out there who'd dearly love to wreak havoc on these sites!!

But your right I am a hopeless case ..... maybe not enough hops is the problem

Links and Articles software upgraded ...

Upgraded the "Links" and "Articles" section to the latest upgrade last night.

Links section has a few changes and is looking great!! It's in Beta so there may be a couple of things that aren't working properly - one thing I've noticed is that "Add to Favorites" doesn't seem to be working yet.
