Hi all,

Some of you may have noticed that I've made changes to a few things. One being that you no longer have a Front Page News forum available to post into. What I am in the process of doing is adding a News Area to the site, which will feature largely on the front page as well as have it's own separate area. I'm unsure on how I will set it up as far as permissions go - who will be able to add news, but I'll try to give those members who want access permission to submit their articles.

I hope to have this up and running by tonight .... but don't hold your breath ......

Ok,

I've set up a News mod accessible from the front page. At the moment It will only allow "me" to add news articles, but I'm chasing a way to allow registered members or others with Editor permission to do so!

Bear with me ... in the meantime email me any news and I'll add it for you!!

Once we get news articles submitted I'll add a block that will add the news to the front page!!

So you like our new emblem!! I'm afraid I can't take the credit for it .... that'll have to go to Russ. He sent it to me after some one in Darwin did it up - we were thinking of putting it onto a T-Shirt for one of the Nationals - still might next year if there's any interest - maybe a cap as well - proceeds go to the running of the site - have spent a bit on it now updating the software etc etc. But in the meantime thought it'd be good as an emblem for the site!! Glad you like it mate ...

The articles in the news mod are just to populate to see how it's working and setting it up.

That was 2 years ago mate when this was in the works ... your gonna have to wait and see whether we put some shirts together and what kind.
