Hello!

Hi all,

First post here. I'm here to find out more about gyrocopters, things like purchase costs, regulations regarding maintenence, flying and licencing etc. I'll post questions as I think of them in the appropriate sections.
We've (fiancee and I) just moved to rural NSW, just outside Canberra. We have quite a few aircraft of all different types fly over, and this has rekindled my aviation interest, to the potential dismay of my bank account!
I have about 120 hrs in fixed wing aircraft, with a CSU/retract endorsement, and GA flying is just out of my price range for now, and probably for ever. GA is killing itself with over regulation, but no one will do anything about it.
I'm more than competent with a spanner, so something I can tow home and work on myself is a big factor, hence gyros. I've thought about ultralights, I just don't know, they don't appeal to me for some reason.
Look forward to getting to know you all a bit better,

Regards, Andrew.

Re: Hello!

Hi Andrew and welcome to the site,

I'm sure you'll have a multitude of questions. The members here will be more than willing to guide you in the right direction.

I'm pretty sure we have some flyers from around Canberra also.
