Hi, I'm Bob

Hi, I'm Bob.

It's about time I introduced myself also

Some people think I'm a little because I want to fly gyrocopters. So I just tell them that it's got nothing to do with my mental state. Have to go and have my medication now, so I'll catch you all later

Howdy Bob and Ian
Good to have ya'll aboard.
From the view of a none flying gyro builder, I think the best course of action for you is to make your way to a flyin.
Look at the machines, watch them fly , talk to everyone you can about their machine, and and then get a couple of rides. If that don,t get you going nothing will.
Then if you like what you've learned get your self a gyro and find an instructor to teach you to fly it.
Just my two Zackies. Have fun.
Cheers
Sonny

Re: Hi, I'm Bob

Hello Birdy, I'm 6'2" and 114 kgs. Can I still fly gyro's? I know I can't do skydiving cause I'm to heavy but very keen to go for a fly in one of these things

Re: Hi, I'm Bob

Everythns relitive Ian, a pissant only needs a pissants gyro, a whale needs a whales, [not that i'm calln you a whale].
There was a bloke only a hundred miles from ere who weighed bout 120kg after his morn'n sh1t, and he never had a problem with his 914 rosco machine.[ not that you'd need one o them either]

Re: Hi, I'm Bob

No insult intended Ian, its a term we cow chasers ere use when refer'n to the power to weight ratio of sumones machine. If its got gobs o power its a whale's machine, if its a margional one, only a pissant could get it off the ground.

If your only 114kg your in the middle, a simple machine with a 912 and 26' AK's will have you do'n loops.
