Talking yup, 'nutha Perthite

Greetings all

Newbie as they come, measley 13 hours fixed wing solo circuits is it.

Fortunately my wonderful better half bought me a trial helicopter flight (i warned her she would be re-opening a can of worms) LOVED it but with a new bubb on the way it, might be a little out of my budget or motivation to work 3 jobs!!

I was intrigued and researched alot online about gyros and building 4-5 years ago so im carrying on where i left off.

Next step, get a ride in one and chat about lessons

well see ya around

Muzz,

Do yourself a favour and get in contact with Adrian Stoffels - he flies from the WA superlight Club strip at Bindoon. I forget how to get there [did it once from NSW].

Here is the link to his member's detail.

Adrian is a great bloke and I'm sure he'd be delighted to show you the ropes.

Cheers,

Nic.

Re: yup, 'nutha Perthite

Welcome MuZz,
When ya go to Bindoon arrive early as you will have lots of conversations with some who are very knowlegable on Gyros as well as fixed wings. Only one person to be nice too then he may barbie a snag for ya. But don't ask him to drive a truck . Nar Malcom is ok just dish back what he gives out.
They are a great crew so you will have a very enjoyable day there like I always do.
Cheers,
Des Garvin
P.S. Ask questions, don't be shy.

Re: yup, 'nutha Perthite

Muzz,

Wing-nut seems to fit..

or

Gyronaught

along with:

Temporary Australian.. like motorcyclists [ how come there are so many of them still here ]

The list will go on, but basically, you will come to one finding - ' a good bloke' is the overbearing theme amongst gyro pilots.

Cheers,

Nic.
