Hi from Perth

Hi all

I am in WA. About a year ago i went for a lesson with a guy by the name of Lazzlo... and he was on the ASRA list, now i see he is no longer on this list.

i have been thinking on finally getting my ass into gear and getting my training done so i can buy a new toy... but cannot see any instructors on that list with Gyros.

any ideas on this?

if someone has been taken off the list, does this mean that he is no longer able/allowed/qualified to instruct?

any help/direction would help.

Cheers
Steve

Re: List of ASRA Instructors

Steve, Welcome,

Lazslo passed away.
Contact Adrian Stoffels in WA on 0427 094552
If their off the list it could be for any number of reasons but they are off the list nevertheless.

Good luck and have fun with the journey.

Mitch

It was a sad loss as Lazslo was gyrocopter to the end - must have suffered an extreme dose of gyro-itis, just like me or anyone else who seems to post here, that infectious infliction over anyone who's ever touched one...

It might be a journey, but its no sojourn, mate, once you're airbourne under your own cognisance, with proper training, it is FUN!!

So, as Mitch says, contact Adrian, he's a helpful decent bloke and sure to supplement your enjoyment with these great little machines.

Cheers,

Nic.

Re: Hi from perth

Hi Steve, Wecome to the world of Gyros. We at the Superight Aircraft Club S.L.A.C. had a very enjoyable week end at the old abandoned air strip at the Catholic Agricultural College at Bindoon. This is where Adrian was getting his high in aviation to carry him through till he gains the managing directors approval to partake again. If you give him a call he will update you with information you are looking for.
Enjoy your trip down the gyro path it will be most rewarding I can you from first hand experiance.
I live at Bullsbrook and work at Geraldton. Look forward to catching up with you at Bindoon in the future.

No Laszlo passed away after a illness which he kept to himself. NOT in a gyro accident.

Re: Hi from perth

From Perth as well is anyone in perth with a gyrocopter I can have a close look at looking at doing some training. I have an aviation background and the interest with gyros has been with me many years
after seeing my uncle fly one in the mid 70s.
