Re: Heads from Queensland

Vic,

Are these performance heads?? For a Subaru EA 81?

If not, for my money Iīd be going to a wrecker for the parts - Cardiff Automotive here in Newcastle does some good deals and is reasonable on price - that is my experience anyway.

Make sure you ask for heads that have been proven through crack testing as you donīt want to buy a dog, though I doubt you would get one, be cautious.

0249536400 - Ask for Peter. They do parcel post off a Visa card no problem and can supply new parts for reasonable prices as well [non genuine], eg - EA 82 timing belt and oil pump kit $120 all up + freight. They also do half cuts, etc, etc.

Hope this helps,

Nick Tomlin.

Vic..................hows you're "Russian Roulette" life values. You are going to need lots of luck doing a deal with this guy.

There may be one or 2 guys that have had no probs, but there are, sure as hell, guys that have had probs like you just don't want. Me, ive had 3 engine failures courtesy "steve stuberfield".

There are other options for you, check them out. [ Rob Patroney does good heads for one ] or gives good heads.............[ sorry rob, could'nt help meself ] i'm duckin for cover now
