Re: For Tender 100hp Rotax

I never bothered even giving it a thought as I thought it would have been snapped up pretty quick by someone with more money than me.

Re: For Tender 100hp Rotax

Been away working, just got home, read emails. Plenty of them but no money. To answer a few questions the engine is complete as you would buy a new Rotax 912 ULS off Bert Flood or any other dealers. (Yes, it does have a gear box). When you buy a new one you have to buy the radiator, oil cooler and exhaust extra.
The engine has never been touched mechanically other than meticulously serviced. I could have told you all it had 1000hrs on it and for its age you would have believed me, but that's not the way I operate. It currently has 2394hrs on it and it is still an operating machine. I figured it would take about 50 hrs for a decent offer.
Yes, $1000 & $1500 offers are an insult. Its $18500 to bolt another one it it's place. You fellas will have to find a bit more than $4000 otherwise it can go into the container as I don't think Bert Flood gets it for that.

Wink People bid on the premise it will need to be Overhauled

Sorry did not mean to be insulting you (I think I offered $1600, well you did say you were going to give it away) but after talking to a few guys who have sold back to Bert Flood I now have the 'good oil'. Be my luck I'd buy it and then it would need the 'overhaul'.

You will likely get $4000 to $5000 for it from Floods' they will overhaul it and sell it for $15000 or there abouts.

5 grand, I'll swap you my 503 rotax approx 40 hrs TT one timber prop strike, runs sweet. I could have not mentioned the prop strike but I just dont operate that way......

Do you need outright cash, or would you sell on payment plan? Seriously!

Mitch.
