G'Day Gents,
I thought things were a bit quiet on the forum, so here's some video I uploaded.
Bit of background........................................ ...
Enroute to Cooma with new trailer, new gyro and 10 hrs of solo, I was very much looking forward to a beer. Mid afternoon the trailer did a wheel bearing, which siezed onto the axle and the ........

Cut along story short, I stayed with the vehicle and Elise headed for Cooma, with instructions to get help and bring back a suitable wheel bearing Kit.
Good Friday, 30kms from Cooma, what do you think your chances are?
Remving that siezed/welded bearing from the axle stub was going to be a problem.

As luck would have it 'help' came out of the wood work. Everyone was an expert. Me I had no clue.
Later, this SCG type turns up with Elise and the Bearing Kit and some advice for the 'help'.
Birdy introduced himself, the job got done and around about 10pm I got him back to his accomodation. We had stuffed around with getting the trailer mobile again, travelled the 40 kms to the other side of Cooma and we hadn't even had a drink..

I kinda knew Birdy from the forums and had planned for Birdy to fly my Butterfly at Cooma. It had the Bensen alloy blades attached, with a disk size of 21' 9". Birdy hated the blades and told me to upgrade to something decent. Birdy put a couple of hrs on the gyro and always had a grin on his face. MattyG reckoned I wasn't going to get it back on one occassion...
Needless to say we did have a couple of

's or three with a bunch of other gyro enthusiasts.
Here is a little bit of Birdy test flying the Butterfly. Check it out.
