Hub Bars

Hello members,

Due to an excess intake of alcohol and a bad attitude,i used to collide with the ground (carpet on pub floor) quite often when much younger.Nowadays life is a bit more precious,so,has there been any general concensis on hub bar materials/failure/design/inspection,and fitting and torqueing procedures for blades? and the use of backing plates etc. Will be building my own 582/618 powered single seater in the next twelve to eighteen months and would like to feel confident in the suppliers safety record and history. Are there any 'active' gyro instructers over here in WA?

Safe flying guys
Peter
