Alan Wardill has asked me to post the following Rotax AD's in his absence.

The following mandatory service bulletins have been released by Rotax. They deal with oil filters on 912 and 914 series engines. You may be interested to know that a member's 914 was destroyed due to an incorrectly fitted oil filter that allowed the engine oil to be pumped overboard in a very short space of time.

Please be guided accordingly.

SB-912-055UL/SB-914-036UL - INSPECT FOR TIGHT FIT OF OIL FILTER FOR ROTAX ENGINE TYPE 912 AND 914 (SERIES)
