Russ, you bet against me to fly first.
Today did a 1.1 hour flight with my mate Mr concrete and 70 liters of fuel. Approx 1150 lbs/523 kg. I used 23 liters for the 1.1 chock to chock. Approx .1 taxiing.
This is the VVT engine without the VVT connected. Max rpm is 5200 and cruise 60 kts is 4800. My guess is around the 130 hp mark without the VVT connected. The climb rate is about the same as Hybrid with 120 hp.
Tomorrow I will have to order an ECU that will drive the VVT.
A couple of phone pics. I have the "useless to my old eyes" stratomaster on the passenger floor for altitude VSI and rrpm. The rest of the gauges are here there and everywhere until I get the new dash console.
Aussie Paul.
