Experimental Hegar disk Brakes to 500 lb aircraft weight. WARNING!!!

Yesterday the brake lever handle of the Hegar disk brakes system (500 lb ultralight class) was found to be in place but with the pinning bolt missing.

An immediate search of the grass in and around the area failed to locate said bolt.

Handle was removed and pre-flight resumed after search was conducted.

Here is a pic.

Please check yours if you own this Brand.

Mitch.
