Shared Ownership

Hi All

Just wondering has anyone considered the shared ownership thing now that we can get insurance?. It seems to work in the RAA/AUF and wonder if its a reality for Gyro's. There are so many nice machines available know and if we are honest most of us dont fly as much as we would like so it seems like a natural progression.
Any ideas?

Cheers
Darren

Re: Shared Ownership

G'Day Yoshi,

Not much by way of opinion or advice here Eh!

Shared Ownership.
This seems to work in the USA at club level. Larry Neal and the Texas Chapter of he PRA did it with a AirCommand Tandem some years ago. I believe it was a fair sized club with lots of involvement by the members.

I believe Peter Barsden and or Adrian Stoffels may have been involved in a club trainer in WA. ?????

The insurance package you talk of.....could you explain how this now helps?

I don't mind experienced fellas flying my gyro but I don't think I would like to share/own it, now I'm past the training to solo stage.

Cheers,

Mitch
