Gyroscopic gyroplanes are among the best built gyros in the world. If I were to consider getting Ross Symes from Broken Hill to build you one of his
Gyroscopic gyros I would insist, as most newbies do these days, that Ross build to the more stable designs by, if using Subaru engine, to have the gearbox mounted down, and to fit the largest h/stab that Ross makes or even larger again.
A Rosco gyro, as we all tend to call them, built to the newer geometry of having the Center of Mass and the thrust line within 50mm of each other and fitted with a suitable H/stab, would have to be my preference for a non fully enclosed gyroplane.
