Re: Off to Lameroo.

G'Day Fella's,

Tapping away on an unfamiliar notebook PC thingy...... pain in the butt.

Anyway, am in Gnowangerup staying at my brothers Pub to catch our breath ( reads...drinking heavily) before heading up to Perth.

All went well with the Blue Emperor Butterfly and I had advice from several TA's, CFI's and Mustering Pros on how to fine tune steering and gearing down the tail, which is extremely responsive. Thanks to all the fella's who had a fly in the Blue Emperor for their contributions to the test flying.

Wow! This was a great gathering of blokes and craft.

Talk to you all when I get home.

Mitch

Re: Off to Lameroo.

I would have loved to have had a fly Mitch and thanks very much for the offer but I got to say I was a mite nervous after seeing Steve Morcome have a bit of fun with the suspension.

Mitch handled the Butterfly like a pro and had this big permanent smile on his face all weekend and it seemed that Mitch was permanently re fueling the Butterfly as it hardly stopped all weekend.
Its one beautifully built gyro with much care taken in construction. Well done !!
I got to say that Mitch is one great bloke !!

Re: Off to Lameroo.

Graeme, why was that? Not to worry, I will have that beer with you next year. Terrific to finally meet Mate.

'Chopper' Reid........Mate, you know how keen I was to meet you. It was an honour and a pleasure to finally meet you and Rosie. I very much look forward to the next time we fly together and have coffee with Rosie.

Wanagaratta???

Have my ticket booked already.......

Mitch

I'm working on a piece about the Mateship that evolves from these forums and National gatherings, more specifically about the Lameroo experience....titled..."In the company of Strangers." In not sure what form it will take as of yet, though I am leaning towards a poem/ballad so I can put music to it an play it at future events on the guitar around the camp fire, drinking tripple filtered square bear.

"In the company of Strangers,
I sit amongst my friends........"

Till then,

Mitch

It's my shrinks fault Mitch, those pills he has me taking to try and stop me from wanting to strangle idiots, they don't work when mixed with alcohol.

Graeme.
