Re: Clt

The test would probably be more accurate if it was the same guy inside the aircraft for both pics. (also the guy in the hang pic should take his hand off it)

Still. looks pretty close to me.

Did they test two-up also?

Yes first Picture is of Geoff and second is with Alistair. Both are of approx same size and build, so weight would be much the same.
Yes they did test it at MAUW but instead of a second pilot they sat 3 bags of cement in the passengers seat.
The outcome was great and she flys even better. Stay tuned as the second Kruza is only about 2 months from its first flights. But the boys have made many changes, including weight, design, powerplant, blades, prop, gearbox, and prerotator.
Regards SamL

Hi Disco, They are still using the EJ25 SOHC 165hp. This is the same powerplant which will also be used in the new model, just an additional few ponys.
The price of a GT Gyroplane KRUZA is $82,500 including GST. But as the new model is about to be released they are currently advertising in Pacific Flyer (Oct 2008) first 3 purchases $67,500 +GST. This is exellent as the machines come fully optioned with radio, headsets, spats, doors, ect. No additional options.

Regards SamL.
