Hi All

Was wondering if anyone has access to a mitsubishi 3.0 lt v6 they are all alloy and should have enough oomph but was wondering about the weight particularly.

Anyone got any thoughts on it or hard info

Hi Mark,

Are you sure that the whole donk's are alloy. I have a 3.5 ltr V6 and it has alloy heads but a cast iron block. I would be surprised that Mitsubishi would change the basic design of the V6, could be wrong of course....

I have a 3Lt V6 in my Triton. They have probably the lowest KW (109) out of any of the V6s and have a cast iron block. I would look at some of the other jap engines that are all alloy and higher power.
