Litre's per hour on 582

Hay Guys,

How many litres per hour can i expect a 582 to burn on an air command single.

I know it depends on a lot of things but even a range would satisfy my curiosity.

Thanks Guys

Dean

Dean it depends on lots of thing, eg. weight of machine, pod/no pod (streamlining), thrust line, size of rotors (rotor loading) gearbox / prop size, and type of flying .
My 582 machine seems to average about 16-17 litres per hour.
Regards SamL.

Wowwwww Dave, that would hert
My burn rate is at trimmed cruise, being 5200-5500, at 50knots.
I feel mutch better now
I must say I do miss my trike days when I could fly my 532 trike at 45 knots on 4500rpm and acheive an average burn of 9 litres per hour.

SamL.

Dean that motor will chew on average 16-18lts per hr if you take off and fly for a couple of hours, if your doing circuits step it up to about 25lts, but start with 20lts per hr in your mind and after you fly for awhile it will show itself..
