Tuning a carby
Pondering again..............
When we tune our carbies, we do it on the ground.........at sea level, sort of
Ok, we goes flying..........the higher we gets, the richer we run, therefore more fuels being consumed, unnecessarily
Query............why don't we tune em a bit leaner, so when we are up there, things are more correct, fuel / air ratio wise ???????????
Not being a mechanic, at full throttle, aren't we pumping in the rite amount, it's just when we get to cruise settings at the higher altitude we need to "retune" the carby...............but we can't, it's preset..........at ground level..............just wundering
