Re: 180HP ENGINES coming online soon.

Hi Sky Gazer,

The first of the engines will be going on the Dyno at an indipendant Motor Engineering Shop in about 5 weeks. I could give you the details I have now, but I would rather wait and post the indipendant results when they have been completed.

The reason for the post of the engines was to see how much interest there would be for us to continue with our program, and it looks like there is a real lot of interest here and overseas.

So if you can wait a for a little longer I will get back to you with the full details.

Graeme

Crikey, even the V8 Supercars only develop approx. 100hp per litre, and they need 7000rpm to do it - with a short life expectancy.

Tim, I reckon it might be like the earlier Rotax 2 bangers running over 6000rpm. It was not if BUT when it went bang.

I am glad that their are people out stretching the boundries though. Without that development technology would stand still.

Re: 180HP ENGINES coming online soon.

Hi All

From memory the guys with suzuki gti's are getting way over 200 hp out of the 1.3 litre gti motor so i dont think that its improbable or impossible or totally outlandish

To get this power though they are using 8000 rpm which will necessitate some give and take either using lower rpm and getting into the ratios available now or using larger reductions

Regards Mark
