Sonny thats not a bad way to earn a crust, i used to used a 100 ton crane to mine though, first strip off the boom, then just hook on and give 2 short whistles(crane language for up) then just pack up the crane and come back in a couple of weeks and reverse it. the biggest one i had any thing to do with, which is still only a baby compared to the coal industry was a 250 ton face shovel, that one was a three crane lift.
