Image FAQ - How to attach more than 1 image per msg

Here's a list of allowables:

Max file size for 1 attachment is 130 KB
Max file size allowed for attachments per post is 200KB
Max number of attachments allowed is 5 per post
If you have 5 attachments of around 35KB (175KB) they will fit into 1 post, 4 attachments around 45KB (180KB) will fit into 1 post etc etc

In case you haven't worked it out, just click on the picture to enlarge it.

I figgerd it out but I found my pix were still too big. I made them 600x480 but their 65KB average, is that right? :confused:

640X480 is perfect as if the file is any bigger then it will open the picture in another window ... great mate

Humm
Even after I downsized them when I tryed to post 5 then 3 pix a window read that the post was too big.That's why I posted one pic at a time.Where did I go wrong?
I am working on resizing more pix of the Mentone trip to post.

Hi Sonnyj,

ok, you can only post 200K total per post, so if 5 pics don't add up to 200K then they'll all go in. If you notice, I did a bit of work on the photos you uploaded and brought them down to about 35k each - some even came down further than that without loosing any quality so as to speak. Try bringing your pics down to about that size and you'll get 5 per post. Hope this helps - and hope you didn't mind me playin with your pics :question2:

By being around the 30-40k size they'll be a lot quicker downloading also.

Of course I don't mind your trying to help me. I'll go see if I can find the changes you made couse I'm still not real clear on what to do.
Do I need too make them smaller?
