Well, if you cant afford a 912, then you use a Suby!!
Its hard to write a cheque out for $20 odd[when you havent got it] or spending approximately $7 to $8 and having something that will probably do 2 to 3 thousand hours.

I'm with you Brian , if the handbrake caught me writing out a check for 20k + , my flying days would be over :Bat1: :silvia: .
Besides , after flying Brian M's EJ 22 tandem I doubt a 912 would blow wind up it's date two up full fuel . I'll be going over to Willi's for a comparison against his MT-03 ( if the stainless frame/welding hasnt busted before hand :poke: ).

Just thought I'd mension that the MT-03 is a modified Spanish ELA,who know give a lifetime warrenty on the airframe, so I wonder if the German MT-03 do too

I have been told that Brian M's 2.2's have got plenty of power !!!
Will be really interested in what you think after flying the MT-03 !!! Go for it.
I'm pretty sure that you have no fears re the SS frame, they would have been tested extensively in Germany I would think.
