Guys....have recently purchased a "CD" from pilot supply company, that is brilliant.
You load it into your compewtar, then as prompted you load in "your" aircraft data...ie
total fuel
fuel consumption
cruise speed
etc etc etc.........
then you type in a departure point [ anywhere in oz ]........bingo a "wac" chart comes up, showing you right at that point, then you set your cursor on your point of destination, click there, then it asks do you wish to land there, do you wish to refuel and continue on etc etc
So you set in your desired way points untill you finally get to your real destination.
Then you click onto a window of "fuel useage".........it will show you each and every leg, how long to get to each, how much fuel you require for each leg.
Then to get "real accurate" you type in expected "winds" strength, direction etc and it redoes the calculations to give you an "exact" detailed report.
Then you hit "print".........bingo, a 100% accurate enroute log of what your days flite is to be
Can't wait to get me gyro up and running........no more unknown factors in my flite planning..........winds / times etc
BTW.........costs $250..........covers the whole of oz
