New tandem

picked up G 640 from Murray last weekend :joy: , still have lots to do & I doubt if it will be ready for the Nats next year.

Engine : EJ 22 , Autoflyte redrive , AK blades , Max Tout rotorhead , Owen tail & wheel spats & Patronney 72" wide chord prop.

yeah I miss my yellow machine :tears: , I only sold it to help finance buying our new place & have some left over to build a single seater . As it turned out Muz had the unfinished tandem for sale so I grabbed that. I've got a big workshop ( with fridge :drunk:) & shed now so I can build away ( the single seater will be next , maybe Simonini powered ).

Since when have I harassed you , Paul ?

I reckon this one will be the same colour red ( SS Commodore ' Sting Red ' ) as the old tandem .
Only trouble is this place we bought has a lot of work to do & it is interfering with gyro building - you'd know all about that.
If it don't rain soon we will be carting drinking water - mongrel drought.

Yeah, know the deal on all those projects running concurrently. Hope I can get back in the air prior to Lamerroo, otherwise I might have to head out to Kevin's a little earlier and get some stick time in before soloing again. Hope you can make it Echo. If not bound to catch you the next time round.
