Hi, my names Luke and i am currently in the research stage about gyrocopters. I have searched the net extensivly but struggle to find home build kits in Australia. I was wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction or where i could find a good classified place for gyrocopters in Australia. Your help would be much appreciated, Luke

Luke,
Greg Mitchell (Mitch) is the agent for Butterfly Gyro's in Aus. Offhand I don't think there are any other kit agents here.
Mitch can be emailed from the userlist.
Other than that, the ASRA site has a For Sale forum thats a little more active than the forum here.
Cheers Geoff
Hi Luke. Do what most do. Grab a pencil, paper and a measuring tape and get down to the nearest gyro flying club and ask to measure up a gyro there. Then, grab some tools and build away. I'm in that phase, myself, right now.

Luke,
Give Paul Pruty a ring he's in Ballarat not too far from you. He'll be more than happy to help you out and more than likely be able to point you in the direction of some relatively cheap gyros and parts from Victoria which may interest you.
Paul is an instructor however has been grounded for what in particular I'm not too sure. He is very knowledgable having been around gyro's for a long time and you may learn something from him.

I am the Secretary/Registrar of the Australian Sport Rotorcraft Association, and can be contacted on registrar@asra.org.au. I can give you some information on gyros for sale if that is what you require. Also I can let you know how to join our association etc if you are interested.

Just a thought - there is a great group of guys flying out of Lameroo - it isn't that far from Swan Hill.
Contact me if you would like more information on them too.
