Caught!
Life at the top of the food chain was great while it lasted, but a young alligator’s days as king of the French Broad have come to a close. The 3-foot-long alligator was caught at 12:37 a.m. on Sunday by Headwaters Outfitters employees Sid Cullipher, Aaron Motley and Adam Beeson. It is being kept in an aquarium at an undisclosed location until a state wildlife biologist can transport it to a warmer climate.
