2 weeks ago we had to listen to our so called pollies & digneteries tell us it was " un Australian " when a mob got together & had a good o'll fashon blue at Bonbi beach. Watching Sky News this morning, the Bondi councilors voted in there wisdom not to fly the Australian Flag and i QUOTE because it might intice RACISM...........FOR FU#K SAKE...........NEVER thought i'd see the day when the AUSSIE FLAG was not to stand proud because it would upset " SOME " ethnics. You gotta be fu#king joking, now whos UN AUSTRALIAN Johnnie. ( Could you see this happening in America ), i think not,With respect Sonny. Dare i say it, this country is #@*!$#..........nah better not big brotha might me watching !!!

G'Day Gents
Too many good people have fought and died under our flages.
I feel it is a show of gross disrespect on their part, and should be brought to their attetion less they forget who they are and where the come from.

Just a note on that .... your Southern Cross is in the Avatar section also Sony ....
Isn't that strange that both our rebel flags are called the "Southern Cross" ... quite fitting I think!

Sony, did you want to keep the other Avatar ?? My apologies if you did. Unfortunately at the moment we cant add another - but not thinkin here, we could have added it to your Signature I suppose - do you want to do that. That way you can have your avatar and the flag will fly under every post?? I'll whack it on mine so you can get an idea.

Roller coaster ride was 31st July 05 on the point of lift off at the end of the runway, we were doing touch and go's. Considering the manovers we were doing earlier long way up...........makes the mind ponder......but definetly dont dwell on that one. :fingers: Gonna give it another go iv'e spent to much money to throw it all away. the problem now is lack of instructors over here in the west which will mean some serious travelling, by the way first night shift was a breeze it was good to be back at work. I got some good people around me sayin all the right things so im fired up again....... :pistoles:
Me n mum , motorhome with 2 seat trainer in tow, planing on hiting the road for a bit, will be east,west,north,south...................maybe we can get together. Could make life a tad easier for you and others. Mate, we intend to cover some country. Mums a beautician, she could dolly up the ladies while we do sum flying

Me missis still thinks I'm georgios................and that's what counts.
And she still after all these years....................gets me blood racing................phew
Saddens me a tad that the later generations seem to focus on life as "disposable"............when the going gets a tad tough, they want to bail out. And their lives are centered from debt............they actually own nothing, the bulk of their income is servicing debt, and they continue to keep that "debt" topped up.
Now if I was to get onto "education"............the system we got. Mate, some heads would roll. It is crap.
Our mate "Peter" down in canberra, got these tens of millions laying about [excess].........we got crap education, health, bet they stay crap, and bet he sends mills away as donations etc etc.......Grrrrrrrrr

My neighbiur and drinkin partner is an earthmoveing contractor, he got a grader, frontend loader, D7,D9, Bob Cat with all the atachments, fork lift (big 1) gotta roller, bloody big water cart an asortment of trucks 1 being a big black Kenny with a float behind it to cart all his stuff arround. So after a few beers oneday we decided we needed a VERY big firebreak. 800 metres later and 8 metres wide, rolled and compacted our airstrip is......i mean firebreak......is rivel to non even sporting a wind sock to tell us from which direction the "fire " is coming from. Oh did i mention my Best Mate has a Cessna Hawk 172........... my Gyro belting up and down our smoothhh firebreak makes it look like over kill, but hey who cares. No goats here.

Subject: I Love This Come Back
Author unknown
One of my sons serves in the military. He is still stateside, here in California. He called me yesterday to let me know how warm and welcoming people were to him, and his troops, everywhere he goes, telling me how people shake their hands, and thank them for being willing to serve, and fight, for not only our own freedoms but so that others may have them also.
But he also told me about an incident in the grocery store he stopped at yesterday, on his way home from the base He said that ahead of several people in front of him stood a woman dressed in a burkha. He said when she got to the cashier she loudly remarked about the U.S. flag lapel pin the cashier wore on her smock.
The cashier reached up and touched the pin, and said proudly, "Yes, I always wear it and probably always will."
The woman in the burkha then asked the cashier when she was going to stop bombing her countrymen, explaining that she was Iraqi.
A gentleman standing behind my son stepped forward, putting his arm around my son's shoulders, and nodding towards my son, said in a calm and gentle voice to the Iraqi woman: "Lady, hundreds of thousands of men and women like this young man have fought and died so that YOU could stand here, in MY country and accuse a check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen. It is my belief that had you been this outspoken in YOUR own country, we wouldn't need to be there today. But, hey, if you have now learned how to speak out so loudly and clearly, I'll gladly buy you a ticket and pay your way back to Iraq so you can straighten out the mess in YOUR country that you are obviously here in MY country to avoid."
Everyone within hearing distance cheered!
Well it just gose to show, you can teach an old dawg a new trick,
Thanx Geoff
