Hi everybody,

I am interesting in flying and I am tossing up between gyrocopter, trike and fixed wing.
Trike & fixed wing schools I looked at allow you to rent their machines after getting the licence so you don't have to get an aircraft straight away.

I can't find any gyrocopter school with that option and gyrocopter is the one I want to learn the most? I live in SEQ. Anything I'm missing here? What is the normal way of getting to fly a gyro without forking thens of thousands in one go.

Cheers,
Edward

Hi, welcome to the site. Good decision ... gyros are safe and lots of fun. You'll enjoy flying them!!

Well, you could try David Stubberfield in Bundy, he used to allow students to use a single seat Rosco machine to do their solo in ... it's been a while since I was down there and am not sure whether he still does or not. He nearly always had a single seater or two for sale also ... never know, he might just have one at the right price ......

His number is (07) 4152 4718
