Yes you're right Russell. I have made promise after promise but did not have control, and was relying on other people who let my down rather badly, BUT that is my fault. I just took too long to rectify the problem . Getting suspended let me focus on something other than students training, so in one way it was great!!!! I can at least now say that it's no longer a figment of my imagination!!!!!!!

So it's approx 20/3/06 for yours to arrive? I expect to have one flying in NZ around that time and the first Oz one should only be 3 weeks behind that. It is getting exciting for me now!!!! Finally Firebird stuff is happening every day instead of every 6 months like a few years ago.

It will be good race then Russ. At least I have started, and mine can be pushed around with me going brooooom brooooom broooom!!!!! I will have the second one able to be pushed around by the end of next week.

I like this mechano bolt and rivet together stuff. It is great, and as I get more stuff CAD drawn, laser, and CNC machined it will even get easier.

Was recently informed by the guy who's abowt to build me gyro [ same guy doin the mods to waddles RAF as we speak] that there is the potential for a serious defect with the control cololmn..........Geez how do you spell that thing.....uno.........the stick control bizo............yea somewhere down on the keel where it bolts together there. Prob is extreemly serious slop developing at the joints, and rivet areas ?????????????? mite pay to check other machines real close like......cheers
