G'day Sam, Thats a good looking setup. Is this gyro from the same crew who showed up at Wangaratta in 08?. I'll have to give you a call Sam and tee up a time for me to get current again.
Matt
Thanks Mtch.
Hi Matty, good to see your back. Yes the KRUZA is made by GT Gyroplanes from Echuca (Alistair and Geoff Morrison) The original KRUZA they displayed at Wang is chalk and cheese compared to the new design.
Give me a call and we can book you in for a flight.

Has anyone designed a set of pontoons for the Kruza or is it too early for that kind of development?

At this point in time no, but its very possible and given the KRUZA's large tail surface and HS area it my be feasable. My biggest concern in doing so would be the lowering of the machines centre of drag in relation to its thrust line. It would inturn require a few HS adjustments and test flying in order to get it right. The other issue is its MAUW may be exeeded 1 UP & definatly 2 up for sure.
