Exact mixture readings in real time for only $250.00 inc delivery kit contains ego gauge sensor weld in nut & bung for not in use times
Suits 2 & 4 strokes
Well got round to testing gauge set up on 582 rotax last week it had an ivo prop & pulled 6100rpm with 1100 egt's no breaking down but EGO gauge showed more to lean side [was flickering 110deg out of 270deg]so I adjusted mixture by lifting needle one clip position ran it up again got 7000rpm and egt's @ 1000
this may have saved a costly blow up

Butch, can you post more info on the setup you intend to use on Daves gyro. I think that this is a big plus with the differences in fuel quality we have all experienced. Poor quality fuel - whether you know it or not, or whether you have experienced it or not - you will one day and lets hope it's not when your at your most vulnerable .... this is of benefit to all that fly and are able to use this inexpensive technology.
If you want to send me the info Steve, I'll most certainly do something with it.
Geoff
PS Regarding your reply today concerning "Hirth" adds on the other forum. This forum has a vastly different policy concerning "Small Business" in the Aircraft Industry. I encourage you all to post your products here. This is a non commercial site, but what I do want is for the people who come on here to be aware of and benefit from free advertising this site offers!

Hi all
I am using a wolf 3D ECU on Daves & My gyros & youre FW Rotor this is programable in real time but hitting buttons while flying isn't recomended so We will set up on the ground & have an in flight adjustable fuel pressure regulator [dile on the dash ] this combined with the ego gauge will alow the pilot to trim lean [less presure] for best cruise fuel ecconomy
& rich [more pressure ]for more power/cooling for take off & touch & goes or when you get a dose of shit fuel & get feedback as to what is happening when adjustment are made

Yes Paul
they are very good but I have yet to find anyone that is familiar with tuning them & as anyone who knows EFI tuning has had an experiance with some know it all
dickhead who has made a compleat **** up of tuning one of the best ECUs on the market so any ECU is only as good as the guy/wanker tuning it.
