The keel was the only bit that didn't bend, eh? :D:D:D:D Just kidding.
Hey Pete, why an O2 sensor on a carb machine, and why did you change to a Webber?
Cheers

Yes I did rebuild after a suspension failed. but I did not need to do everything that did, But it certainly does not make it any less of a machine because of the rebuild, it is a much better machine now.
The 02 sensor, it tells you the same thing whether you have a carby or fuel injection. It will tell you if it is running lean or rich. And as we all know we don't want them leaning out to much.

It looks good, Pete. I've got no doubt that it is better for the rebuild. You appear to have done a lot of work. That machine was in my shed for a while about 10 years ago. The bloke who built it was a friend of mine. He soloed in it at my place, and dropped dead about a week later.
I would have thought the O2 sensor was a bit superflous in a gyro. I thought it would be running open loop at the sort of loads we use to fly. Do you have a mixture block (such as a McNeily, or similar) to adjust the mixture, or do you have to change jets. I was under the impression that a mixture block was only commonly available for the Holley 1920.

Sh.t sorry to hear that about your mate. this machine has been around then.I bought it off Peter Bradley from Barnsdale.
Sorry if I got a bit defensive, but I have done a lot of work to the machine.
I want to build a two seater so thats why when I herd that Ross was looking for a single seat machine, now might be a good time to start.
And yes I have to change the jets in carby. just drill them out with jet drill's.
