I read some where it was a trike not a gyro as first reported. It might of been on the ASRA site will see if I can find it again.

It was a trike, Its reported the pilot clipped a tree on take off. He is in Perth with spinal injuries & the passenger escaped with minor injuries.

It's not good news whatever way you look at it.
Fortunately though, it wasn't another gyro incident!
My sympathy to goes to those involved, I hope those injured recover quickly.

Spoke to Ian (the pilot)yesterday he was a bit grogy but has no spinal cord damage but has some disc damage cant see it holding him down for long wishing him a speedy recovery
