Ok this will probably be dumb question but where can you buy clear fuel hose that doesnt get hard and stained from the fuel, need it for the sight gauge on my seat tank, cant seem to find any thing that will work for me.....got to keep replacing the stuff every month or so, its a pain :anger:

Guys
Try Wadeair, I bought some clear( blue) fuel tube a while ago, and it's still OK after a year.
I think Avgas also causes a faster deterioration of fuel lines.

I'm sure my answer is the same as Gyross, I use Ashville house of hose here. They handle top shelf stuff and I have had no probs out of the site tube I got from them. If you give me an address I'll pick up a few feet and mail it to you and I'll get enough for Birdy too if you'd like, its purty cheep .50 cents per foot, proly cost more to send than to buy. Oh I proly should know wot size to get.

I tryed to get fuel uproved stuff went to jabaru workshop & the "proper" stuff acts just like the cheap stuff
starts when fuel is added goes all soft swells up then shrinks back & after 6-8 months goes hard as
just buy "fish tank/garden clear hose and relace every 9 mths
