Hi Guys
Just caught a quick glimpse on a news flash and read on the Recreational Aviation Forum that a Magni gyro was involved in a accident near Townsville earlier today:( Does anybody have any more datails? Hope all involved are OK

It was on the news yesterday .. only minor injuries ...

Very pleased to hear Michael and his lovely wife are uninjured.

From the aerial photos it looks more like a 50 - 60 metre skid mark with a rightangle mark at the end from the rotor.

Was speaking to a member who got the helicopter shot on video and the playback is even more interesting apparently when you take a closer look.;)
