Well, I'm a bit surprised that a bid hasnt been forthcoming from WA after the boys put in that super huge effort last year to get to Lameroo. Must be a bit of space there somewhere Des to hold the event? ;)
ASRA is a Australia wide club but members could be forgiven to thinking otherwise. and I thought the nations wool growers were a fragmented lot
On consistancy, you got to hand it to Queensland as they have certainly supported the last two years very solidly. Was great to see gyros been flown so far [Bones] terrific stuff.

The ASRA Board are currently looking at this proposal from the TT Lines, see attached, which provides discounts to ASRA Members and trailered gyroplanes travelling on the Spirit Of Tasmania to a Tasmanian ASRA National Championships.
Look at the discounts against set and projected fares.
Price of fuel going where its going leads me to believe if it is to expensive to travel to Tassie with listed discounted fares, then it is unlikely a Nationals will ever be held in this State.
Fellas, please give some thought to a 10 day - fortnight flying holiday of Tassie. We have local pilots and strips available statewide. This could be the last big Tassie Holiday.
Mitch.

Mitch,
Looks good mate - I think we should run another poll with Tassy for 2009 Nationals as the big Question!!
