Reputation?

Gentle people,
does any know what the reputation collum in the members list is for.
It has comments like = Joe Bogs is unknown quantity at this point
= Joe Blow is on a yellow brick road.
= Dewie is a dill

Dewie ... it's another way to give a msg your vote, which either enhances a users reputation or degrades it ...

You'll notice under your username in your message there are 4-5 little icons. One is a set of scales - if you click on it a box pops up and you can either approve or disapprove, also you can leave comment - you can only use this once to a post or topic I think.

The little message you are reading when you click on the green button is the overall result - a preset message indicating yeah or neah .. whether he has a good rep or a bad one!
