I am sorry to inform you that Two of our members perished today in a fixed wing aircraft forced landing 15 Km east of our runway in timbered country. Their Names have not been realeased as yet. This is a sad time. Des Garvin.:(

Any idea what went wrong - what type of aircraft was it?

Its a damn shame that having fun can have such an enormous price tag, my deepest sympathies to the families.

I am sorry to hear of your loss down there, it's always sad to hear of any loss to the aviation community.

The small consolation is that usually they were doing the thing they loved doing when they died.
