Thanks Shawn ..... great video

Q1. What state is the video taken in ..

and

Q2. What's the snow covered mountain in the background ??

The video was shot in North Western Oregon and the mountain is actually Mt Saint Helens, a very large volcano that erupted in the early 80's (I was there at that time. bad visibility wouldn't have flown that day if I was even old enough to fly my gyro)...

Cheers.

Yep, thought crossed my mind that it was Mt St Helen's .... It's a big mother isn't it ...

How far from the eruption where you ?? what an awesome site it would have been .... once in a lifetime event ...

cheers

Being on dial up is a pain. But I refuse to get Fraudband, especially as we are subsidising the Yanks:Bat1:.....Oh! :eek:Gidday Shawn ole Mate did'nt see you there:o.....Yeah! :rolleyes:That's right (he he) didn't see you there, cause I can only afford Dial Up whilst Australians continue to subsidise you guys with ADSL2 and your 'unlimited under $10' specials. By the time I get a download, I'm old and grey. But Hey, I guess there are some advantages to being the most powerfull nation on the Planet.:p

Seriously though I had a great time in the USA and just love your country. Your movies are always Top Shelf Mate.:D

Very few people around the world fly a gyro and very few get to witness such an event as the Saint Helens eruption. I've followed you closely Shawn as we soloed around the same time. Your'e switched on and talented and your contribution to the gyro community around the world with the website, stories pics and videos is to be applauded.

Mitch.

Anyway.. was just in Australia last month and should be returning again soon. I'll drop you a DVD if I can sometime.....

Cheers,
Shawn
