Yep, certainly has. Hope it stays in Australia. I also hope that Owen is able to retain the courage to build components despite the setback by the incident at ESK. He has a very good reputation.

Sorry mate, talked to a couple of the people at the ASRA board meeting on saturday but didn't get around to this question. Came away from the board meeting thinking that there were some personalities showing through. I'm not confident that we are really up to speed.

Perhaps if the meeting structure was tightened up, maybe the unusual attempt to announce the position of President during the AGM despite it already being a public announcement, or the unnecessary old board meeting / then AGM/ then board meeting.

I would have thougt it more positive to move straight to an AGM, then into the Ordinary meeting which then considers any carry over of business from the last ASRA year, as well as new business before the board. It wasn't as if the new board consisted of radically different membership. I guess this'll possibly ruffle a few feathers from the admin side of ASRA but.... it's the feeling I came away with from the meeting.

New kid on the block here, reading these comments, I'm getting a view that there is a story to be told
Great believer in getting it out in the open, and discussing any problems, or percieved problems. Might just sort a problem before it gets out of hand.
The tone of these comments definately suggests an open, frank discussion is a must.
Your views may be wrongly founded, or perhaps, absolutely right.
